Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of multidiscipline water/wastewater/water resources or other water-related projects Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at project sites with project managers, technical professionals and other disciplines Coordinate staffing and workload through project development to complete documents on schedule Collaborate with the Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller or Company Controller and Department Manager or Managing Principal for project reviews Implement QA/QC procedures Execute training for personnel as established by strategic plans Supervise project staff and mentor less-experienced Project Managers Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years water/wastewater project engineering, including at least 5 years in project management, with complex projects (condition assessments, planning and design of collection systems, distribution systems and/or treatment plant projects) PE in New York or New Jersey Active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture; candidates residing locally in NY/NJ area are preferred Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 10 years related experience Minimum 5 years project management experience Professional Engineer (PE) license MS Office and MS Project experience (Access a plus) Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills Commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture What We Believe and Our Commitment
