About Us

Adolescent Wellness Academy and Principles Recovery Center are sister programs united by one mission: to transform lives through healing, connection, and growth. AWA serves adolescents and families navigating mental health challenges, while PRC supports adults on their path to recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders. Together, we believe that

healing begins with awareness

— and that’s where our Outreach Coordinator comes in. Position Overview

The

Outreach Specialist

is a connector, storyteller, and relationship builder — responsible for expanding our visibility across South Florida and ensuring that every family, provider, and professional knows who we are and how we can help. This role blends strategic marketing, relationship management, and community engagement. You’ll build partnerships with schools, hospitals, therapists, treatment providers, and local organizations to ensure access to care for adolescents, adults, and families in need. If you’re a compassionate networker who thrives on meaningful connections and loves seeing people get the help they deserve, this is the perfect opportunity to make an impact. Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Partnership Development

Conduct consistent face-to-face marketing meetings, attend community events, and represent AWA/PRC at conferences and networking opportunities. Build and nurture strong relationships with referral partners — therapists, hospitals, schools, recovery programs, and local organizations. Maintain active communication with referral sources through visits, calls, and personalized follow-ups. Identify and develop new referral streams across adolescent mental health and adult recovery networks. Coordinate co-branded events, speaking engagements, and educational initiatives to expand our community presence. Marketing & Program Promotion

Partner with the Admissions and Marketing teams to execute outreach campaigns (email, phone, social, and event-based). Collaborate with leadership to track leads, engagement metrics, and conversion trends in the CRM. Represent both programs with professionalism, empathy, and authenticity — aligning messaging to our mission and values. Support the creation of outreach materials and coordinate participation in community health fairs, wellness expos, and awareness days. Admissions & Client Connection Support

Serve as a bridge between outreach and admissions teams, ensuring that incoming referrals are supported from first contact to intake. Participate in tours, consultations, or information sessions to help families and professionals understand our programs. Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, lead status, and follow-ups in the CRM system. Alumni & Community Engagement (PRC Focus)

Maintain relationships with alumni and local partners to encourage continued participation in community recovery events. Assist with planning alumni gatherings, volunteer activities, and outreach events that foster ongoing connection and purpose. Provide updates and feedback from the community to inform future program development. Qualifications

Experience:

2+ years in community outreach, marketing, admissions, or relationship management (behavioral health preferred). Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Psychology, Social Work, or related field; Master’s degree in Mental Health Services a plus. Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills — confident meeting new people and speaking publicly. Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems, Outlook, and Excel. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

strongly preferred.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license, ability to travel locally within ~1 hour radius, Level 2 Background Check, and Drug Test. What Makes This Role Meaningful

families getting help, lives improving, and communities growing stronger. Ready to help more people find healing? Join us in building stronger, healthier communities — one relationship at a time.
