F-16 Sensors Engineer - Principal (SME)

Sumaria Systems Job Description: Seeking a top-notch avionics/sensors engineer who is ready to work as part of a team of subject matter experts. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills as candidate will work closely with USAF and F-16 senior leaders, foreign military sales customers, higher headquarters staff, and other key stakeholders associated with FMS production and modernization programs. Candidate will work as part of a team of SMEs to assist F-16 FMS country teams and the Government engineering staff on a wide variety of engineering, acquisition, and program protection tasks in support of aircraft production and modification efforts. Duties include: Assist the Government in the development, implementation, and execution of integration and acquisition strategies for multiple F-16 USAF and FMS programs. Support translation of customer requirements into acquisition program requirements and support requirements development for hardware and software, including F-16 PVI development. Support sensor development and integration engineering, and overall F-16 systems engineering for F-16 OFP software and hardware development, integration, test, and fielding. Assist with development of Systems Engineering Master Plans (SEMP), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), and review contractor reports. Support ground and flight test anomaly resolution and troubleshooting for F-16 sensor integration and development programs. Support F-16 Information Assurance (IA) and Anti-Tamper (AT) program to include IA and AT program requirements and solutions. Support fighter platform avionics sensor integration, including fire control, stores management, pilot displays, electronic warfare defensive equipment, and other avionic subsystem integration and test. Education:

Master's Degree highly desired. Requirements include: Master's Degree and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD. OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD. Experience:

Recommend 15 years of F-16 fighter weapons systems integration program office experience with detailed knowledge of all USAF and FMS configurations to address requirements. Recommend multi-discipline expertise. Recommend at least fifteen years of experience in fighter platform avionic sensor development/integration engineering (minimum of 10 years).
