LPN PRN Inpatient Rehab – HCA Florida Capital Hospital
We are seeking a dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care and supporting the Registered Nurse in planning and maintaining patient care plans for adults in our acute rehabilitation setting.

Role Responsibilities
Assist the Registered Nurse in preparing and maintaining effective patient care plans.
Reinforce instructions given by the physician and RN, and report need for additional instruction.
Administer or prescribe medication under specific policies and procedures.
Take and document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, height, etc.).
Collect laboratory samples (blood and urine) for testing.
Required Qualifications
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
Graduated from a vocational school.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or BCLS instructor certification within 30 days of employment start.
Acute care experience required.
