Pay Rate: $46.00 – $58.19 per hour Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

The Shop Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of shop production and repair projects. The individual shall operate in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team”.

Establishes processes to insure timely and accurate invoicing

Coordinates PIP completion to meet Caterpillar standards

Oversees warranty work order preparation and completion

Maintains and executes good housekeeping and safety in the work area

Collaborates with Parts Admin to execute and fulfill back orders in a timely manner.

Maintain meaningful relationship with internal and external customers

Interact with office personnel and establish defined roles and responsibilities

Assist scheduling and dispatching technicians

Gather and manage purchase orders

Ensure accurate and timely invoicing

Basic understanding of the Caterpillar equipment line

All other duties as assigned by manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct Reports: Shop mechanical and electrical technicians

Completes timely performance reviews for direct reports if required

Assists in hiring and training shop personnel

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED

1+ Year’s Supervisory/Management experience

10+ Year’s Technical or Mechanical Experience

1+ Year’s Customer Service Experience

Physical Demands & Competencies:

Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing

Sedentary work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 25 pounds or more

Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills

Safety & Product Knowledge

Basic Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Outlook

Intermediate knowledge of CRM/Sales Link"

Intermediate knowledge of DSI/SIS Web/STW

Advanced knowledge of DBS

Work Environment:

Noise: Moderate

Environment: Indoors & Outdoors

Travel Requirements:

1-25%
