Job Description We are seeking a Director for our Research & Development Tax Credit practice. You will thrive in a growing environment and provide clients with exceptional services. Our R&D tax credit consulting covers all eligible industries from the scoping phase to defending claims with federal and state tax agencies, including c‑corporations, s‑corporations and partnerships. A portion of our client base uses the R&D tax credit as a qualified small business via the payroll tax credit offset.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate R&D tax credit consulting services for clients.

Prepare the necessary qualitative and quantitative documentation to support R&D tax credit claims.

Lead client relationships on day‑to‑day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services.

Research and consult on technical matters and special projects.

Build relationships and communicate effectively with clients to provide superior client service.

Participate in business development efforts, working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with client prospects.

Manage, train, and develop staff and participate in the performance review process.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.

10+ years of Accounting experience and/or Research & Development Credits (R&D).

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or related field.

CPA or equivalent.
