The Opportunity The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. The role requires working on feet, maintaining a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment, and assisting with crew tasks when the line is not busy.
What You’ll Do
Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
Help resolve food quality issues.
Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, monitoring line temperature, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures are followed.
Resolve customer incidents to ensure positive customer experiences.
Help monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
Develop and cross‑train front‑of‑house crew.
Assist with crew performance reviews.
Develop future Service Leaders.
Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork.
Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as necessary.
Maintain proper supply quantity as needed.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
Familiarity with office paperwork.
Strong communication skills in the primary language(s) of the work location.
High school diploma.
Restaurant experience.
