Lead Power Generation Field Service Technician
Indel Power Group, through its subsidiary Curtis Power Solutions, is looking for a Lead Power Generation Field Service Technician to work in Baltimore, Maryland. The role requires years of experience as a technician and expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining large generator sets.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls.
Commit to safety and cleanliness.
Maintain open communication with management regarding job status, updates, and changes.
Use low‑ and high‑voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets.
Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts.
Order replacement parts and services efficiently and effectively.
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to the engine, generator, or components.
Start up and commission large genset units with automatic transfer switches.
Occasional driving may be required.

Physical Requirements Technician roles are physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing and walking, occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to manipulate and grasp objects, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist. Good vision and effective communication are essential. Must work safely in noisy, odorous environments with temperature and/or humidity extremes.
