Team Description The
Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering
team is hiring talented contributors for innovative projects that will help power and secure our businesses and guest experiences. Leverage your solutions integrations knowledge, industry experience, and your passion for new technologies and platforms. You will be part of a diverse cross‑functional team with ownership at the core of its DNA. The IAM group’s core mission is providing a Core IAM ecosystem of security services, platforms, and solutions in use across the company by cast members, employees, and partners within Disney’s business segments (DEE&T, DX, Studios) and corporate functions. Our vision is to provide advanced Identity and Access Management capabilities and services that are simple, seamless, and secure to protect our workforce, our data, and our brands.
Responsibilities
Owns and leads development projects and team where a project comprises multiple components.
Leads the development of or develops medium to large, innovative software solutions that meet specifications and impact future developments.
Develops or leads the development of specifications for software development projects.
Reviews or writes code, leads programming and testing and debugging of major software development projects.
Conceives and sets the architectural direction for software development projects.
Designs the component tasks of software development projects, developing specifications for each.
Must Haves
Minimum of 7 years of related work experience.
Experience providing technical leadership and oversight to other engineers.
Expertise in full stack software development (both frontend and backend technologies), software architecture, virtualization/containerization, web services, automation, relational and non-relational database design, systems architecture, system engineering, encryption and security, and many other critical areas.
Expert with Cloud technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong experience in contemporary development models and languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Deep expertise with the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
5+ years’ experience working in Agile software development.
Deep expertise with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Expert in developing high-availability, highly-scalable applications and services.
Nice to Haves
8+ years’ experience with SDLC tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Confluence, etc.
5+ years’ experience working with Identity and Access Management systems.
Strong knowledge with sensitive data handling such as COPPA, PCI and PII, Safe Harbor.
Integration with Okta, SailPoint, SGNL, and Active Directory Technologies.
Expert level experience developing solutions leveraging relational, NoSQL, and graph databases (MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, Redis, NeptuneDB, etc.).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
Compensation The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $155,700 - $208,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
