Overview This position serves as the in‑charge auditor on large, complex, and sensitive internal auditing assignments. Audits cover internal controls, corporate policy compliance, asset safeguarding and the reliability of financial data. The Senior Lead Investigator also manages hotline reports and special investigations into business ethics, bribery, embezzlement, fraud, and related violations.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute high‑level audits covering ASC and subsidiary organizations, as well as project management teams.

Perform large, complex assignments involving contract compliance, internal controls, IT systems, and specialized code reviews.

Investigate allegations of fraud, waste or abuse; collect evidence, interview witnesses and prepare in‑depth reports with recommendations.

Supervise audit assistants, develop audit programs, and ensure all work documents are fully documented.

Conduct closing meetings with Department Heads and Division Heads to present findings and obtain concurrence.

Recommend process improvements and changes to internal controls and company policy.

Duties

Oversee audit completion and propose revisions as needed.

Develop working relationships with supervisors and staff to ensure cooperation.

Consult on scope and status of audits with the Audit Manager.

Review and edit audit reports for accuracy and completeness.

Participate in special projects and provide training to new auditors.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

Preferred MBA, CPA or CIA certification.

Minimum ten (10) years of audit experience, including experience in large public or internal audit engagements.

Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team of auditors.

Knowledge of IT auditing, statistical sampling, flow charting and current audit techniques.
