$90,909 to $135,700 per year depending on experience and faculty rank.

Primary Purpose Participate in teaching, service, scholarly activities, and appropriate administrative work at RVUCOM‑SU.

Essential Job Functions

Mentor students in project design, research methodology, and bioinformatics.

Provide statistical support for various research and scholarly projects.

Actively participate in the education and instruction of medical students and other health‑care professional students while providing mentorship and motivation for learning, research, and scholarly activity in classroom environments, active learning groups, laboratory experience, and research opportunities.

Establish and maintain scheduled office hours for student advising, tutoring, remediation, and consultation.

Provide service to the university community and students through serving on committees, providing leadership, mentorship and expertise to students, participating in community outreach events, and with professional organizations or groups as assigned.

Demonstrate the highest standard of professionalism and ethical behavior in all aspects of personal and professional actions and performance.

Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and support staff.

Increase the prestige of the University and College through advancement of its mission and vision and personal career development.

Be actively engaged in original and collaborative research.

Other duties as assigned by the Vice Provost of Research and Scholarly Activity, the Provost, or a designee.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge and skill in data analytics.

Ability to mentor and motivate students and peers.

Leadership experience in professional or educational settings.

Scholarly publications.

Ability to work independently to perform tasks, investigate, and solve problems.

Experience integrating and analyzing large datasets from multiple sources such as surveys, census, administrative data files, and raw research data.

Proficiency in SAS programming for data access, retrieval, management, analysis, and presentation.

Ability to develop and use statistical algorithms to answer complex research questions.

Minimum Qualifications

M.S. from an accredited institution in data analytics.

One to three years of experience doing statistical analysis of health‑care records.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. from an accredited institution.

One to three years of academic experience as a full‑time faculty member at a College of Osteopathic Medicine.
