Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Oracle CC&B / Oracle CCS Developer
to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our Oracle Utilities suite, including
Oracle Utilities Application Framework ,
Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) ,
Customer Cloud Service (CCS) ,
Java ,
Oracle Database ,
XAI/IWS Web Services , and
CC&B configuration tools . This role requires hands‑on development experience with
CC&B version 2.3 , with the flexibility to work on later versions. The developer will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, contribute to CI/CD pipeline design, manage deployments, and ensure adherence to best practices in development and systems integration.
Key Responsibilities
Application development: design, develop, and enhance software solutions using Java and Oracle Database within the CC&B v2.3 environment.
Business collaboration: engage directly with business leaders to gather requirements, conduct product demonstrations, and translate needs into technical solutions.
Knowledge sharing & vendor coordination: provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to team members; interface with third‑party vendors (e.g., Kubra) to support technology integration and troubleshooting.
CI/CD & deployment: contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, and manage deployment processes across development, test, and production environments.
Testing & debugging: support unit and integration testing, perform debugging, and contribute to the development of technical documentation.
Technical support: deliver ongoing support for the existing Oracle CC&B production environment, ensuring stability and performance of implemented applications.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven expertise in
Oracle Utilities Application Framework ,
CC&B v2.3 and later versions ,
Java development ,
Oracle Database administration ,
XAI/IWS Web Services , and
CC&B configuration tools .
Experience supporting and maintaining production and test environments; upgrading CC&B environments (preferred).
Strong understanding of development and systems integration best practices, CI/CD methodologies, and deployment strategies.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities in testing, debugging, and documentation.
Additional Information
Candidates must currently reside in Canada.
Remote work options are available, though proximity to Markham, ON is considered an asset.
This is a contract position with potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
Pay and Benefits The pay range is $100,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year.
Workplace Type This is a fully remote position.
