PG&E’s Transportation Services team manages all aspects of transportation‑related equipment from design to disposition. This Supervisor will oversee multiple garage facilities and fleet operations within an assigned service territory.
Responsibilities
Acts as the first point of contact for garage operations and responds to emergencies on a 24/7 on‑call basis.
Collaborates with directors, managers, and supervisors to address client needs and resolve issues.
Ensures repairs are completed accurately, with minimal loss time, and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Maintains fleet personnel adherence to all PG&E, federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Documents and reports all incident forms, bulletins, and notifications promptly, especially injury and vehicle incidents.
Executes vehicle warranties, recalls, and scheduled work.
Identifies and resolves personnel issues and conflicts.
Manages the departmental budget for the assigned area.
Supervises personnel within the geographical service territory and across multiple garage facilities.
Administers maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles and equipment (light/heavy duty vehicles and utility/construction equipment).
Trains, coaches, and guides garage operations personnel.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
5 years of fleet management or related experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Desired qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; leadership experience; experience in repair; prior automotive and truck maintenance; supervisory experience; experience supervising budgets of $1 million or more; experience in a union environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Fleet management operations knowledge.
Safety program management.
Program efficiency improvement and accountability.
Large fleet coordination (over 12,000 vehicle units).
Leadership, organizational, and process improvement skills.

Compensation Salary range: Bay Area $114,000 to $162,800; California $108,000 to $155,100. Eligible for discretionary incentive compensation programs.
