Overview Lead the launch of a brand‑new BSN campus as Dean of Nursing. Shaping curriculum, recruiting and mentoring faculty, and building strategic partnerships to prepare students for success in nursing practice.
Responsibilities
Oversee curriculum, student outcomes, faculty development, and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate a founding faculty team, managing their hiring process, performance reviews, and professional development.
Ensure program compliance with State Board of Nursing requirements, preparing required reports and facilitating the accreditation self‑study.
Collaborate with the Executive Director of Academic Operations and campus leadership on policy, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Coordinate clinical scheduling, student advising, and clinical consortium activities to maintain sufficient patient‑care hours and clinical quality.
Serve on nursing program committees, chair faculty meetings, and provide leadership in curriculum alignment.
Qualifications
Doctorate-prepared nursing leader (doctoral degree required).
Five years of combined teaching experience and curriculum development/admin experience.
Current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhanced compact nurse licensure relevant to the state of teaching location (preferred).
Strong leadership, communication, and faculty development skills.
