Overview The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking an experienced and visionary Corporate Dean of Nursing to lead and oversee our Nursing Programs. This role is responsible for ensuring academic excellence, regulatory compliance, faculty development, and student success. The Dean provides strategic direction, fosters innovation, and drives continuous improvement across all nursing education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership for nursing program strategy, growth, and innovation.
Oversee curriculum design, accreditation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Recruit, develop, and support faculty to ensure instructional excellence.
Monitor student performance, retention, and licensure outcomes.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with clinical and community stakeholders.
Represent CHCP at professional, community, and campus events.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred.
Active RN license in Texas.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in nursing or higher education.
Demonstrated expertise in teaching, curriculum development, and program evaluation.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
