As part of Optum, a large network of medical groups in the U.S., Oregon Medical Group is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our Primary Care team in Eugene, OR. We focus on patient‑centered care over volume and value comprehensive clinical practice.
Base pay range $104,500.00/yr – $156,000.00/yr
Sign‑on bonus: $10,000
Practice models & schedule
Flexible practice models : Traditional, Hybrid & Virtual
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Full‑time or Part‑time options
Outpatient setting – manage patient care and perform general office procedures
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Experience with DAX AI‑powered voice‑enabled documentation is a plus
Leadership pathways and partnership opportunities available
Responsibilities
Provide patient‑centered care across the age spectrum, from pediatrics to geriatrics
Conduct examinations, order and interpret diagnostics, and manage treatment plans
Assist with office procedures and preventive care services
Maintain thorough documentation in EPIC and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with the medical assistant to room patients, take vitals, refill prescriptions, and schedule follow‑ups
Serve as a mentor to clinical staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree or comparable professional certification (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon (or ability to obtain one)
Certificate of completion from an accredited NP/PA program
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, required before start
Excellent patient care, time‑management, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in primary care or managed‑care settings
