Assistant Service Managers ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The ASM acts as a liaison between the client and the service technician, works with the call center to schedule service, and collaborates with the technician team to ensure work is distributed equitably among service technicians. Key Responsibilities include: Observing factory suggestions on maintenance items and advising clients on vehicle maintenance per manufacturer specifications. Assessing client needs and gathering information for service or repair diagnosis. Providing clients with accurate estimates of repair or maintenance costs, including diagnostic fees and explanations. Writing repair orders with detailed descriptions and securing client approval. Informing clients of diagnoses, selling repairs and services, and managing extended warranties. Inspecting vehicle quality post-service to ensure all work is properly performed. Following up on repair progress and communicating updates to clients twice daily via phone or email. Responding promptly to voice and email messages concerning internal and external clients. Notifying clients when repairs are complete and vehicles are ready for delivery. Reviewing and explaining repairs and costs upon service completion. Documenting approvals for repairs and add-on sales. Maintaining a status sheet of ongoing repairs and special order parts. Maintaining required CSI ratings and hours per repair order in accordance with dealership standards. Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Valid Driver's License (must be insurable). Physical Demands:

Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
