Our

Assistant Service Managers ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The ASM acts as a liaison between the client and the service technician and works with the call center to schedule service for clients. The ASM also collaborates with the technician team to ensure work is distributed equitably among service technicians. Responsibilities include: Observing factory suggestions on maintenance items and advising clients on the value of maintaining their vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications. Assessing client needs and collecting information necessary for diagnosis of service or repair. Providing clients with accurate estimates of repair or maintenance costs, or a minimal diagnostic fee with an explanation of costs. Writing Repair Orders, detailing problems and pertinent information, and securing clients’ signatures for authorization. Informing clients of repair diagnoses, selling repairs and services needed, and ensuring proper operation. Selling and managing extended warranties and completing required documentation. Inspecting vehicle quality post-repair to verify proper completion of authorized work. Following up on repair progress during the day and notifying clients of any changes via phone or email, documenting updates accordingly. Responding promptly to voice and email messages concerning internal or external clients. Notifying clients when repairs are complete and their vehicle is ready for delivery. Reviewing and explaining repairs and costs with clients upon completion. Documenting verbal, in-person, and written approvals for repairs and add-on sales. Maintaining a status sheet of carryover vehicles and repair statuses. Tracking the status of special order parts. Maintaining a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) rating as per dealership standards. Maintaining required hours per repair order (HPR) according to dealership standards. Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver's License (must be insurable). Physical Demands:
Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
