This role would be a part time position for helping resident Teaching Artists with classroom management and technical dance demonstrations for students ages 3-18.
Required Skills:
Computer Literacy: Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Organization: Documentation, Filing, Letter Writing and Researching, Data Processing
Written and verbal communication skills: Ability to conduct respectful, appropriate dialogue with young people
Knowledge of dance, pedagogy and choreography.
Teaching experience
Program responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Assist with teaching Stepping Stones classes
Completion of weekly teaching journal
Participate in staff and program meetings (if required)
Data entry of various profiles and account information including updates to incentive points in Class Dojo
Assist with performances and special events (ex. March Show, May Show, etc.)
Make phone calls to constituency upon request
Provide additional support as needed upon request
