Assistant Store Manager Responsibilities
Demonstrates a high level of business acumen; delivers sales results through employee development and mentorship. Embodies a strategic mindset to deliver operational efficiencies. Ensures Coach\'s standards and competencies are top of mind. Serves as a versatile team member, able to adapt to all roles within the store environment. Sales: develop sales strategies across all categories; communicate goals to the team; track store performance; achieve sales targets; manage personal and team productivity; implement and monitor clienteling strategies; act as brand ambassador in the market to drive loyalty and business; resolve customer issues promptly and with a solution-oriented mindset; build long-term customer relationships; take ownership for results; protect and drive business needs in partnership with Store/District Manager; ensure daily tasks support Coach standards and service; respond to challenges quickly and course-correct as needed; create enthusiasm and a shared vision; recognize and value performance. Operations: evaluate team performance and provide feedback; adhere to all retail policies and procedures including POS and Operations; recruit, onboard, and collaborate with Store Manager on talent strategies; manage daily operations including selling, service, payroll, HR and loss prevention; forecast and plan budgets with Store Manager (e.g., payroll, staffing, scheduling, merchandising); maintain store interior/exterior upkeep in coordination with corporate; communicate needs to ensure esthetics and safety. Competencies: Drive for Results, Customer Focus, Creativity, Interpersonal Savvy, Learning on the Fly, Perseverance, Dealing with Ambiguity, Strategic Agility, Building Effective Teams, Managerial Courage. Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 3 years of previous management experience in a luxury retail service environment preferred. Current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Technical: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience using retail systems (labor management, inventory, sales reporting, etc.). Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively with customers and team; navigate the sales floor and stock areas; lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds for shipment/transfer tasks. Schedule: Ability to meet Coach scheduling and availability expectations, including nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic. Base pay range: $22.00 to $30.50 per hour. Our benefits include health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; a 401(k) plan; paid time off for wellness needs and vacations.
