The Transfer Admissions Representative introduces UW to prospective transfer students and families, emphasizing the value of public higher education. The role involves building relationships, delivering accurate information, and guiding applicants through the admissions process. Duties include recruitment travel, campus visits and events, and serving as primary contact for assigned territory, communicating with stakeholders and managing the recruitment funnel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Implement a domestic transfer student recruitment plan with in-person and virtual visits at community colleges, community-based organizations, and adult education centers within the assigned territory. Build relationships with prospective transfer students, families, and community college advisors; provide information about UW programs, admissions, and campus life. Monitor and track the status of admission applicants within the territory; ensure timely processing of applications and documents. Deliver presentations to prospective students and families during campus visits and recruitment events, highlighting UW strengths and offerings. Conduct outreach to target markets via phone, email, and other channels to engage prospective students. Respond to inquiries from prospective students, families, and stakeholders with accurate and timely admissions information. Collaborate with admissions staff, academic departments, and campus offices to ensure a positive experience throughout the admissions process. Participate in planning and coordination of admissions programs, including orientation sessions and open houses. Supplemental Functions

Assist in data collection, reports, and maintaining program files to support recruitment and admissions activities. Attend professional development workshops and conferences related to university admissions and student recruitment. Stay updated on best practices and trends in higher education admissions. Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: One year of community service, leadership, college involvement, and/or service in student affairs or similar capacity Required licensure/certification/registration: Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy Desired Qualifications

2-3 years of professional work experience Travel throughout Wyoming and other states Knowledge of university enrollment processes: admissions, financial aid, orientation, advisement, or transfer processes Ability to maintain accurate databases and data entry on university or business/student information systems Experience with event planning, production and management Ability to make presentations to varied audience sizes Experience with marketing or promotional campaigns Ability to make independent, sound decisions and provide high-caliber customer service Ability to work in a team and foster collaboration Strong communication with diverse stakeholders Strong attention to detail Required Application Materials
