Procedural Specialist – South Jersey/DE
BD (Tissuemed Ltd) invites you to apply for the Procedural Specialist role in the South Jersey/DE region. This position involves promoting BDPI products to customers and potential customers through clinical support and education while operating within a defined geographic area as directed by the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and staff on technical matters related to BDPI products via case support, one‑on‑one in‑servicing, and internal/external physician education training programs.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals and physicians.
Obtain new users and applications for company products and services.
Observe and report market trends that affect BDPI sales, service and product development.
Represent BDPI in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Process customer complaints and returns in accordance with established procedures and policy.
Maintain company automobile and company property.
Complete and process BDPI reports, including procedural specialist reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.
Fulfill the duties of a Territory Manager in vacant territories and support endovascular procedures as directed by the District Manager.
Required Qualifications
In-depth product knowledge of BDPI products, including surgical and endovascular procedures. Adequate knowledge to support clinical cases.
Basic anatomy and medical/surgical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in the Operating Room, Interventional Radiology Lab, or Cardiac Cath Lab.
Current credentialing and/or certification in the respective clinical discipline.
Advanced knowledge of vascular access management, vascular surgery, and endovascular medicine.
Strong time‑management skills and the ability to maintain numerous priorities and meet deadlines.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities with minimal supervision. Frequent travel required.
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree or B.S. in Nursing, Cardiovascular, Radiology, Vascular Surgery or a comparable technical discipline.
Physical Demands
Regular standing, walking, sitting, using sight, and manipulating objects, tools, controls, and office equipment.
Frequent verbal communication with other associates.
Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling or crouching.
Work Environment
May work in an open cubicle environment.
Must be able to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
