Overview
Sumaria has an opening for a Senior Acquisition Program Manager supporting the Medium Altitude UAS Division (MQ-9 Reaper). Responsibilities
Provide advisory support for acquisition management, program planning and integration of aircraft research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition and sustainment activities to AFLCMC/WII. Assist the Government by preparing advisory/draft documentation across financial management, contract management, budget analysis, protocol, and interactions with DFAS. Interact with AFLCMC/WII team members to identify issues and recommend alternatives; produce draft documentation for timely, fully-staffed products or solutions. Provide advisory and draft documentation support for planning, developing and staffing products such as mid-level briefings, correspondence, reports, databases, websites, and other products. Review AFLCMC/WII processes and procedures and provide recommended process improvements. Assist with ACAT reporting requirements and data population for government review; suggest process improvements as appropriate. Support planning, organizing and facilitation requirements for meetings, including telephone and video conferences. Coordinate draft correspondence and obtain AFLCMC/WII leadership approval prior to distribution. Provide advisory assistance for financial/acquisition management support functions, including coordinating and tracking contracts, invoices, and contract modifications. Monitor cost, schedule, and performance documentation for assigned Contractor activities; provide advisory input into the PM’s efforts. Translate requirements into contract documents (e.g., PBSOW, CDRLs) and assist in identifying FAR/DFARS clauses as needed. Develop risk mitigation strategies; provide input into acquisition management plans and strategies; support strategy development, project schedules, financial plans and other time-sensitive documents for MQ-9 systems. Develop, populate and maintain databases for key program metrics and data; support CLS, depot transition and business case analyses. Analyze fielding requirements and provide recommendations on MQ-9 supportability, certification, and equipment readiness. Collaborate with DCMA, QA, and warfighters to coordinate DD250s, ATPs and aircraft delivery; support staff packages for senior reviews and budgets. Provide advisory support for development of SOWs, program plans, acquisition plans, and Program Protection Plans; participate in fact-finding and recommend actions. Support development of long-range plans, roadmaps, mission area plans, and other planning documents; perform analyses as required for sustained MQ-9 programs. Assist in defining requirements for CLS efforts and interface with sustainment organizations at Robins AFB, GA. Provide technical assistance to resolve system engineering, configuration, and maintenance concerns; analyze cost, schedule and performance of contractor activities. Assist in establishing, tracking and managing sustainment requirements for MQ-9 upgrades and improvements; support depot maintenance requirements for MQ-9 systems. Support the Government with status and progress of acquisition activities and identify program-related issues with recommended solutions. Qualifications
Education:
Advanced Degree (MA/MS) with 12 years of relevant DoD experience, or BA/BS with 15 years of relevant DoD experience; five of which must be in the DoD. Other certifications as described in Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions. Travel:
