The HR Coordinator provides essential support to the HR Director and ensures that every new team member has a smooth and positive start at Old Scratch Pizza. You'll handle the details that keep our HR department running efficiently.
This part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) is ideal for a highly organized, detail-driven professional who enjoys working behind the scenes to support people and processes.
Onboarding & Employee Records
Coordinate new hire paperwork and ensure timely completion of I-9 verification and compliance documents. Schedule and assist with new hire orientations. Maintain organized and accurate personnel files in ADP Workforce Now, Harri, and Google Workspace. Support benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations under HR Director guidance. Administrative Support
Assist the HR Director with day-to-day administrative tasks, scheduling, and special projects. Assist with HR communications, event reminders, and tracking birthdays, anniversaries, and milestones. Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, and reports as needed. Provide administrative assistance during audits, training, and company initiatives. Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in HR required. High volume employee onboarding experience preferred. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Google Workspace, ADP Workforce Now, and Harri is a plus. Friendly, professional demeanor and a team-player attitude. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting interviews. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, including keyboard, mouse, and telephone. Occasional bending, stooping, or reaching to access files, supplies, or office materials. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, such as moving recruiting materials or event supplies. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, over the phone, and via email. Must be able to travel occasionally between OSP restaurant locations or recruiting events as needed.
