Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Identify and close new sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of our SaaS, data, and information services tailored specifically for commercial real estate lenders and financial institutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with CRE lending clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for expansion.
- Territory Engagement: Travel within your assigned region to meet with clients and prospects face-to-face, fostering trust, delivering product value, and strengthening partnerships.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders and local field sales teams to align on client goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing client satisfaction.
- Market Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of CoStar for Lender’s industry-leading solutions and the commercial real estate lending space to position yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing, onboarding, training, and renewals—driving growth and exceeding revenue targets.
Basic Qualifications
- 4-8 years of solution selling experience, with success in owning the full-sales cycle from prospect to close.
- History of success in selling SaaS Solutions to banks and financial institutions.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
- A track record of commitment and success with prior employers.
- Willing and able to travel to client and prospect locations on a regular basis.
- Experienced with complex sales processes.
- Comfortable with diagnostic selling and committed to delivering solutions to our clients and prospects.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a current and valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications
- Our Ideal Candidate is well-versed in their technical skillset, risk concepts and selling into target companies’ HQs.
- Is a well-rounded, versatile sales professional with experience with real estate and fluency selling data and SaaS solutions.
- Experience selling to large organizations with sophisticated buying processes (i.e. Selling Enterprise software solutions – bonus if selling into Banks and Lenders).
- Understands fundamentals of economic models and risk models.
- Comfortable managing data and speaking to the value of integrating proprietary data sets with commercially available data sets.
- Familiar with banking regulations and the regulatory framework in the US banking system including stress testing and compliance reporting.
