About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital serves as a campus of ECU Health Medical Center. The 142-bed full-service hospital is located in Washington and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center. It is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year, as well as the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center - a provider of leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services. ECU Health Beaufort also offers general medical and surgical services, operative services, a women's birthing center, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics.

Position Summary

Pick up and deliver various materials to required location.

Responsibilities

1. Performs all essential job functions detailed in Supply Chain Clerk I role.

2. Cross trained to stock/inventory all areas.

3. Education department certification for pallet jack operation. Visual certification for pallet jack operation.

4. Trained and provided access to Par Excellence Par Vision features. Demonstrates expertise in Par Vision reports including PAR Recommendations, Critical Items, Low stock, Stockouts, Critical hits, and items without reference weights. Uses reports and information in Par Vision to make recommendations to clinical and supply chain leaders.

5. Basic Par Management training. Able to troubleshoot and reconcile issues.

Regional Facilities Additional Functions

1. Performs scanning functions into OnBase System.

2. Uses Microsoft Office in daily work.

3. Uses PeopleSoft by searching purchase orders, finding PS items, and assist with investigating reports.

4. Handles on demand transactions in Stockroom, answering phone calls and assisting customers by having the ability to use PeopleSoft and automated inventory system equipment to research products and purchases to find the customer what they need.

5. Maintains equipment utilized in department and automated inventory system stations in a manner that ensure safe, reliable operation.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or Certificate of Completion (or higher) is required.

Some college courses preferred but not required

2.0 to 3.9 years service

Shift expectations: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm
