- Provide high-level administrative support for individuals, teams, or departments with professionalism and discretion
- Manage calendars, prepare reports, coordinate meetings or events, and handle special projects
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, and promotional materials
- Conduct research and gather information to support decision-making
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records
- Serve as a trusted resource by addressing non-routine inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently while exercising good judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with learning new systems
- Experience supporting teams or leaders in a professional environment
- Requires a High School Degree or High School Equivalency (HSE)
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an administrative support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Advanced computer and related software skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.
- Drafting, proofreading and editing skills
- handle frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels within and external to the university to support department needs
- interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes
- identify problems and implement or recommend solutions
