Immediate 1st Shift Temp-to-Hire Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job in Des Moines, IA!

Pay: $24.00-$27.00/hour DOE

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Duties:

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on engines, trailers, and other heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on engines, trailers, and other heavy equipment
• Maintain detailed and accurate work orders and repair log
• Maintain parts inventory
• Work directly with machine operators and foremen to identify equipment failures

Requirements:

• 3+ years in a maintenance or mechanic role
• Experience with trailers or electrical equipment strongly preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Must be able to work independently
