Base Pay Range
$68,000.00/yr - $113,000.00/yr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cost analysis, identify and investigate accounting irregularities/abnormalities and report to management.
- Work collaboratively with Production Department to review monthly plant expenses.
- Prepare journal entries to accrue revenue and expenses or other items in accordance with GAAP and the accounting policies established by the company.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure balances are correct.
- Review accounts to resolve and understand unusual items and variances.
- Provide support and necessary documents for annual external audit.
- Assist Controller to continue developing improvements in internal policies, procedures, and processes.
- Liaise with information systems and technologies team to implement improvements to the accounting system.
- Prepare, review, and audit internal payment requests to ensure accurate and proper documentation.
- Support Controller on income and other tax filing requirements.
- Learn the basics of the accounts payable system and function.
- Assist with month‑end closing.
- Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as assigned, including ad hoc reports and analyses.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
Qualifications for Accounting Analyst
- Strong critical thinking skills and understanding of basic accounting concepts (e.g. debits and credits)
- High‑level knowledge of US GAAP
- Highly‑proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to quickly learn industry‑related regulations quickly and utilize information in written reports
- Comfortable preparing and delivering reports to management

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business or related field AND 4 to 6 years of full‑time accounting experience. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) title is preferred.
