Restaurant Manager Job at The Lightwell Hotel and Spa in Hood River

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee multiple restaurant outlets and the daily operations of food and beverage operations at the Lightwell Hotel + Spa in Hood River, OR. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for operating restaurants, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of restaurant management, as well as the ability to build diverse teams.

Pay Range

$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including people, inventory, and customer service
• Hire, train, and schedule team members to ensure optimal performance
• Create and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Understand waste control measures and systems to keep costs under control
• Respond to guest questions and feedback
• Collaborate with Hotel and Spa managers to ensure that we consistently meet guest expectations
• Cross-train team across outlets and within the hotel for scheduling efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment

Qualifications

• 2 - 5 Years of previous experience in restaurant management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• OLCC License and Food Handler
