Role Summary The Training Supervisor will perform as a functional trainer and be responsible for administering field station training programs for ramp operations through classroom, hands‑on and verbal instruction. The role will also support training management on matters of safety, security and education, proactively promoting a “safety first” culture in accordance with Menzies Aviation’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include training compliance and oversight for all aspects of the Frontier Ramp operation at Denver International Airport, maintaining Frontier ramp and Menzies Aviation trainer certifications, and managing the loading/unloading of luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. Heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and stretching are required.
Responsibilities
Effectively deliver new hire and annual recurrent training for all station personnel.
Deliver ramp OJT and Driver Training – Secondary OJT and other training based on training qualifications.
Project a professional image/conduct at all times.
Ensure delivery of training courses is aligned to support safe and secure operations in accordance with the highest possible health, safety, security and statutory requirements.
Support employees and supervisors in undertaking protective and preventative measures necessary to achieve health and safety compliance.
Support corporate compliance by ensuring training promotes and supports applicable Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
Report any breaches of statutory requirements or company best practice to management.
Participate in safety audits daily and provide corrective action assistance to management.
Complete daily shift reports and other reports as requested.
Attend and participate in monthly departmental meetings.
Attend mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines as per job role.
Perform other duties as required.

Co‑operate with managers/supervisors to comply with legal requirements imposed on the company.
Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse company equipment.

Report hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to managers/supervisors.
Carry out work in accordance with provided training and workplace health and safety rules.
Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
Attend training courses as arranged by the Company.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 18 years of age.
Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
Excellent communication skills.
Positive, can‑do, upbeat personality.
Enjoy dealing with people daily.
Remain calm under pressure.
Excellent time‑management skills with minimal supervision.
Can stand for long periods at ticket counter and gate check‑in areas.
Uphold the image and standards of the company.
Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs.
Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
Available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Work extended hours on short notice during non‑routine operations.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
High school diploma, GED, or three years of experience in ramp/cargo operations.
