The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking two Pediatric Nephrologists to pursue a non‑tenure track career in the Division of Nephrology. Incumbents will provide clinical services to patients seen in the Pediatric Nephrology clinics and Shands Teaching Hospitals, and will teach Pediatric residents, fellows, and medical students.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care to infants, children, and adolescents with acute and chronic kidney disease.
Manage complex renal abnormalities requiring dialysis or transplantation.
Participate in interdisciplinary consults and coordinate care across the tri‑state area.
Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students.
Contribute to research, quality improvement, and educational initiatives.
Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.
Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatric Nephrology.
Strong clinical, teaching, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with dialysis and transplantation in pediatric patients.
Demonstrated research or teaching experience.
