HVAC Technician - D2/S2 Location: Cheshire, Connecticut, United States of America

About The Role As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will help maintain the mechanical and electrical equipment that powers commercial HVAC systems across a large industrial facility. Your work ensures optimal performance, safety, and comfort for all building occupants. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for providing preventive maintenance, support, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC, refrigeration, and ventilation.

Conduct ongoing maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for repairs or modifications.

Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while working under close supervision and guidance.

Follow defined procedures and processes to deliver reliable, high‑quality service.

What You’ll Need

High School diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (experience may substitute for a diploma).

Valid CT D2 or S2 license and driver’s license.

EPA Universal Certificate.

Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladder, and lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

Basic work‑routine and standard‑application skills.

Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Compensation Hourly: $36.00 – $43.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).
