Commit to the development of all Maintenance members God given talents. Lead and assist with preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of all plant equipment and some utility equipment. Assist in developing a World Class maintenance department. Ensure communication between all departments and all maintenance shifts as it relates to scheduling, work projects, and other necessary information. Facilitate the successful resolution of recurrent problems through team participation. Coordinate all 2nd Shift Maintenance activities and ensuring completion of all required work. Facilitate the resolution of member issues. Experience At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience strongly preferred (Journeyman’s level preferred, or at minimum enrolled in Journeyman’s program). Demonstrated experience and ability to coach and mentor others to higher levels of responsibility and skills. Demonstrated success in problem-solving technical and mechanical problems in an industrial environment. Experience with heating, ventilation and air conditioning and steam generation (boilers) are a plus. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience in electrical and mechanical systems (PLC knowledge, a plus). Some refrigeration background (ammonia), a plus. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate in Outlook and Word; Excel knowledge, a plus. Skills And Competencies Ability to operate and maintain all plant equipment. Participate in and sometimes lead project work as needed. Ensure planned work schedules, preventative maintenance schedules and responsibilities are completed. Improve communication between Maintenance and Operations Members on all shifts. Develop relationships with internal customers. Set work priorities and provide direction, as needed, to Members. Identify technical skills needed and develop Members to meet those needs. Create an atmosphere of innovation and problem-solving within the Team. Build team chemistry and participation. Control budget spending. Drive the improvement of equipment and members. Work with Members to create an environment that makes Johnsonville the Best Place to Work. Be an agent of change to increase performance and results. Work with members to develop and maintain PDCs.
