Job Description : Tax Senior Manager, Provision
As Tax Senior Manager, Provision, you will assist tax leaders within the Tax Reporting function. This position reports to the Sr. Tax Manager, Tax Provision and Domestic Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the tax provision process and supporting select tax planning activities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, operate independently, and work proactively with the Global International Tax Team as well as cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
Note: This position requires full-time presence in our Palo Alto office location.
Responsibilities include
Tax Forecasting & Modelling: Prepare quarterly PBT forecasts by legal entity, maintain ASC 740 provision, Non-GAAP and cash flow models to support business planning and decision-making
Tax consolidation & Reporting: Lead global tax consolidation processes, manage worldwide TARF submissions, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Collaborate with Global International Tax Team on GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and FTC matters
Process Improvement & Technology: Drive ongoing process efficiencies and best practices, leverage technology tools to analyze data and enhance reporting, and proactively identify and elevate issues or gaps in established processes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance
SOX: Oversee SOX compliance and internal controls, ensure adherence to statutory, financial, and internal requirements
M&A & Other projects: Support tax integration planning and modelling for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic corporate initiatives, as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or master's in taxation required
Minimum of 12 years of experience in a large corporate tax environment and / or Big 4 public accounting firm
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and / or Incorta is a plus
Proven leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with experience managing complex projects
Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and capable of building work plans to deliver on strategic objectives
Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $118,800 - $190,000. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
