About the Position Engage in a full‑time role as a CT Technologist, working days, at AdventHealth Tampa located at 3100 East Fletcher Avenue, Tampa, FL 33613. Under general supervision, you will primarily operate CT imaging equipment to capture brain and body scans across all age groups, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
Perform exams using established protocols and facility policies.
Identify patients correctly, educate patients about the exam, and screen for contrast allergies.
Execute scans on all ages, adapting protocols as necessary.
Maintain equipment safety, minimize radiation exposure, and follow infection control standards.
Perform quality assurance on CT scanners and manage imaging workflows, including order entry, transport, and discharge.
Communicate emergent findings to physicians when needed.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree or technical degree in radiologic technology or equivalent combination of high school diploma and related experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
State radiographer license as applicable.
