Travel Rehabilitation RN – Fusion Medical Staffing
Job Overview Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Rehab RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Kingwood, Texas. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications ACLS certification NIHSS certification Other relevant certifications and licenses
Essential Work Functions Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and document appropriately Prepare patients for surgery, including education about procedures and post‑operative care Coordinate holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and ADLs Monitor and evaluate therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and communicating deviations to the interdisciplinary team Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are stocked Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions or diagnostic procedures Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication Proficient written and verbal English skills Basic PC skills and ability to follow written instructions Physical ability to move equipment (50–100 lbs) and provide patient support Professionalism and teamwork with diverse personnel
