We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. You will be involved in a variety of projects, working closely with healthcare facilities to meet their staffing needs efficiently and effectively. As a Locum MD or DO in Ob/Gyn, your role is vital in maintaining the continuity of care for patients, supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages. Provide temporary medical services in Obstetrics and Gynecology to healthcare facilities. Conduct thorough patient assessments, examinations, and consultations. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation. Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, guidelines, and regulations. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Participate in continuous education and training to enhance medical knowledge and skills. Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Valid state medical license and DEA registration. Proven experience working as a Locum Tenens physician in Ob/Gyn. Excellent clinical skills and ability to make sound medical decisions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and work independently. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service. Additional details about the position include: Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 3-5 days per week Call shifts available Level II nursery Daily Volume: 22-25 patients in clinic Delivery Volume: 850 per year, 70-80 per month Required Procedures: Colposcopies, biopsies, LEEP Support Staff: MA, LPN, RNs, CNM, scrub tech, and ancillary staff EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
