Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Ob/Gyn. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients, ensuring continuity of care and high-quality patient outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with different healthcare facilities and making a positive impact on the community's health.
As a Locum MD or DO in Ob/Gyn, your role is vital in filling temporary staffing needs, maintaining patient care standards, and supporting healthcare facilities during staff shortages or leaves of absence. You will be involved in a wide range of obstetrics and gynecology projects, from prenatal care and deliveries to gynecological surgeries and women\'s health consultations.
Responsibilities:
Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to patients in various healthcare settings.
Perform deliveries, C-sections, and other obstetrical procedures as needed.
Conduct gynecological surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and colposcopies.
Diagnose and treat obstetric and gynecologic conditions following evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and preventive care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, gynecology, and women\'s health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and schedules.
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, specific dates
