We are seeking a hands‑on Technical Trainer to deliver high‑impact training programs on HID Global's PACS technologies. This role focuses on educating our partners and customers on HID's complex solutions, including Mobile Access, Mercury controllers, and other technical solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about technical education, comfortable with hardware and software environments, and skilled at translating complex concepts into engaging learning experiences.

As our Technical Trainer, you'll support HID's success by:

Creating and facilitating engaging training sessions in person, virtually, and through blended formats, focusing on complex HID and Mercury solutions with hands‑on labs and simulations.

Collaborating with sales and product leadership to assess needs and implement tailored training strategies.

Tracking and evaluating training effectiveness using KPIs, performance metrics, and feedback.

Customizing content for different audiences including sales engineers, installers, and end‑users.

Continuously enhancing training content by staying informed on industry trends and adult learning best practices.

Creating and maintaining training materials, including presentations, manuals, and e‑learning modules.

Collaborating with product teams to ensure training content reflects the latest product updates and best practices.

Supporting HID Academy certification programs and tracking learner progress.

Evaluating training effectiveness and continuously improving delivery methods.

Staying current with HID PACS technologies, including new products and industry standards.

Providing guidance on troubleshooting and configuration.

Your Experience and Background include:

3+ years of experience in technical training, preferably in physical access control or identity management.

Strong understanding of the HID PACS ecosystem including Mobile Access, Mercury controllers, and OSDP.

Experience with HID Reader Manager, HID Academy, and PACS tools.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time with periodic international travel.

Salary Range: The base salary in the United States is $141,000 to $165,000.
