is seeking an experienced

Site Supervisor

to supervise the new construction, retrofitting and remodeling of Swine and Poultry barns in the

Southeastern US

based out of

Newton Grove, NC .

Hog Slat

is the world’s largest provider of production solutions for today’s poultry and hog producers. Our sales team works with local poultry producers to sell turn‑key, retrofit, and remodel barn construction projects. As

Site Supervisor , you will be responsible for sourcing qualified contractors and subcontractors for these projects. Additionally, you will be required to stay abreast of subcontractors’ day‑to‑day activities and ensure that their work meets Hog Slat’s expectations for quality and timeliness. You will work not only with our sales staff to coordinate the projects but also with our distribution team to ensure delivery schedules for construction materials are met and don’t slow down construction.

General experience in concrete, plumbing, electrical and wood frame construction is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the construction of modern hog or poultry barns. Applicants must have a good driving record. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Promote and Enforce Hog Slat’s Company and Construction Safety Culture and Policies

Understand Site‑Specific Biosecurity requirements and ensure all project stakeholder adhere to these requirements

Effectively communicate with Construction Manager, Salesman, & Customer throughout projects

Source experienced and professional contractors and sub‑contractors for construction

Onsite Field Supervision of Sub‑Contractors and Equipment Installers Assigned to Projects

Manage Inventory Control of Jobsite Material: Schedule Material Deliveries, Receive Material, Count for Accuracy, Strategically Stage Onsite for sub‑contractors; Notify of any discrepancies

Formulate a job schedule and work with crews and suppliers to stay on or ahead of schedule

Maintain Sub‑Contractor Contracts, Pay Schedule Draws, and insurance to ensure Subs are properly insured in accordance with Hog Slat Requirements and paid accurately and timely

Monitor and Maintain High Quality of Work – strive for the Hog Slat/Georgia Poultry Team to be best in the industry

Maintain a High Level of Communication with all parties involved in each project

Manage Essential Job Paperwork to ensure proper completion and storage including, but not limited to: Daily Reports, Material Inventory Sign‑off, Punch Lists, Safety Checklists, Completion Checklists, Product Returns, Provide Equipment Installation guides and layouts to install crews and any training certifications etc.

Troubleshoot and provide technical support as project‑related problems arise, communicate with job stakeholders and quickly mediate and follow‑up until issues are resolved to ensure animal safety and livability is priority

Establish and ensure Customer Satisfaction of schedule and quality

Ensure all equipment is installed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations/installation guides and commission the equipment/barns for proper operation before turnover to customer.

Create and manage work completion and punch lists

Ensure project is built and/or equipped per plans and specifications

Troubleshoot installation/other problems as they arise and quickly remedy with sub‑contractors

Keep job site clean, safe, and organized

Must have dependable personal truck for picking‑up or moving materials

Knowledge & Skills Required

5+ years of successful site project management experience (preferably in hog equipment installation/barn construction)

Excellent knowledge of all phase of commercial construction

Experience in construction scheduling, field supervision, and quality control of construction projects

Ability to organize and inspire sub‑contractors to exceptional performance

Knowledge of the modern hog and poultry industry is preferred

Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record for liability and insurance purposes

Ability to pick-up and move up to 50 pounds
