Mader Group’s finance team is expanding! To support this growth, we are seeking a full time Senior Accountant. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking to gain valuable experience with a global business.
Note: This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday in Fort Collins, CO. Candidates must be local.
About the Role The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various financial reporting and compliance tasks, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Responsibilities
Creates and distributes value added financial reporting on monthly business unit performance.
Produce insightful management reporting on key metrics across income statement eg cost volume analysis, analytical review.
Responsible for monthly financial review meetings with managers and operational supervisors.
Partner with operations to present business unit performance to head office executive team in Australia.
Assist with preparation of annual federal and state tax returns.
Responsible for multi-state tax compliance for income and sales taxes.
Assist with annual budget preparation.
Assist with annual external financial audit preparation.
Assistance in review, revision, writing and implementation of financial and operational policies and procedures for Mader Corporation.
Prepare general Ledger reconciliations to the highest standard, investigating and remedying variances.
Qualifications
Experience in public accounting.
Degree in Accounting / Finance (required).
CPA preferred - will consider candidates that have their CPA in progress.
Required Skills Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills Experience with financial software and reporting tools.
Pay range and compensation package Compensation is expected at 80,000-90,000 annually as well as a performance based bonus.
