Overview
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cost Basis BSA for a client in the financial industry, located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 6+ month contract‑to‑hire position. The role is hybrid, working 4 days a week onsite.
Compensation $65.00 – $75.00 per hour (W2), depending on skill and experience level.
Responsibilities
Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder responsibilities.
Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving detail and accuracy.
Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties.
Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology.
Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities.
Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review.
Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups.
Analyze and document scope of the business solution using enterprise‑standard requirements methodology.
Review, analyze and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support business strategies.
Create system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
Mine data from primary and secondary sources, analyze and reorganize data in a readable format.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on large and complex projects.
Proven experience with Waterfall, Iterative and Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience in requirements planning and prioritization, stakeholder analysis and effort estimation.
High curiosity and ability to turn conceptual ideas into business requirements.
Strong data skills: experience with API, SQL and data mapping.
Cost Basis Requirements
Must have: Cost basis or back‑office experience support of Trading or Operations teams.
Nice to have: Lead BA/BSA experience to assign work and lead day‑to‑day tasks for the BA team.
US WM modernization platform goal: reduce regulatory, resource and service quality risks, scale to meet future growth and enhance interactions with field partners.
Strong driver needed with BSA/Data Analyst skill set.
Nice‑to‑have
Professional Business Analysis Certification (PMI‑PBA, IIBA‑CBAP or CCBA).
Master's Certificate in Business Analysis.
Agile Certification (CSM, CPO).
Trading systems experience.
