Overview
Co-op-Procurement Engineering, Murrysville, PA – June to December 2026. This is a 6-month paid internship opportunity for undergraduate students pursuing a BS degree to gain hands-on experience at Philips, a HealthTech company.
Responsibilities
Supports the day-to-day activities of a dedicated department, typically involving strategic, operational and/or administrative tasks to meet a dynamic environment and continuous improvement goals, exercising autonomy within established procedures.
Conducts research on relevant topics and areas by investigating current trends, industry best practices and competitive landscape to provide insights and support the strategic direction of ongoing projects and initiatives.
Analyzes data related to departmental projects, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive data-informed decision-making.
Participates in team meetings, contributing ideas and strategic input, and captures detailed minutes that reflect discussions, decisions, and action items for effective follow-up.
Assists in preparation and presentation of reports or findings for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Organizes and maintains departmental documentation and files to ensure accessibility and regulatory compliance.
You\'re the right fit if
You are pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (EE, ME or IE preferred).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing; strong analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Minitab, and Outlook.
You must be able to meet the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
Work Environment This is an onsite role. For office-based teams, in-person work is required at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in Philips facilities. Field roles are typically conducted outside of main facilities, at customers\' or suppliers\' locations.

Transparency Details The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 to $29.00, plus overtime eligibility. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on knowledge, experience, business needs, location and internal equity. Details about benefits can be found here. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
Additional Information US work authorization is required. We will not sponsor now or in the future. Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. You must reside in or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
