Base Pay Range $47.00/hr - $65.00/hr
Job Description Provides a comprehensive array of professional services related to the identification, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of persons with auditory and balance disorders and related disabilities. Audiologists utilize evaluation, assessment, patient education and counseling tools to identify and provide non-medical management of disorders of the auditory, balance and neural system. Audiologists work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Education & Qualifications
AuD or PhD in Audiology or an Audiologist practicing with a master's degree in audiology before August 2007.
Eligible for licensure as an Audiologist in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Practice Specifics
Provide diagnostic audiology tests and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages.
Diagnostic testing: audiological, vestibular and implant assessments, immittance, otoacoustic emissions, evoked potentials.
Rehabilitative services: implant programming, hearing instrument recommendations, selections and fittings, aural rehabilitation and treatment for Benign Paroxysmal Positioning Vertigo.
Majority of position is direct care to outpatients and inpatients.
Requirements
AuD or PhD in Audiology or an Audiologist practicing with a master's degree in audiology before August 2007.
Eligible for licensure as an Audiologist in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Location
150 miles north of Minneapolis, MN.
Located on the westernmost tip of Great Lake Superior.
Superior population: 28,000; Duluth/Superior regional population: 130,000.
Compensation $47.04 - $65.86 / hour
