The Opportunity :
The Planner II position analyzes, plans, schedules, and releases the weekly production requirements for a designated group of customers / manufacturing lines that deliver against forecasted requirements while minimizing cost and achieves inventory objectives. Works cross functionally to mitigate any supply challenges and ensure good communication up and down the supply chain. Comfort / proficiency in utilizing ERP systems (such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and ad hoc analysis will be critical to success in the role. Analytical approach required to ensure manufacturing and packaging operations are fully versed to the volume and schedule required.
What You’ll Do :
Supports the monthly SIOP process by analyzing and modifying supply plans to meet updated customer demand requirements. Highlight supply concerns and provide mitigation recommendations.
Attends key cross functional meetings to confirm up to date capacity, raw material, component, and data information is available.
Monitor and adjust supply plans throughout the month. Ensure timely system updates for any deviations and communication to Sales / Customer Service accordingly.
Work cross functionally to mitigate any supply challenges and ensure good communication up and down the supply chain.
Plan and release optimized weekly production requirements to manufacturing which maximize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
Partner with Procurement / Quality to ensure good visibility to material requirements to meet the planned production schedule and development of solutions for any supply mitigation needs.
Ensure new product / discontinuations and customer launches are planned appropriately.
Supports the monitoring and visibility to Sales / Customer Service regarding any excess / obsolete inventory issues.
Regularly review / update planning system parameters in ERP system.
What You’ll Bring :
3+ years Supply Chain Planning or related experience.
Utilization of ERP systems supplemented by Strong Excel support.
Ideally have Pharma, Nutra, or Food manufacturing experience.
Work independently and self-motivated.
Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Strong ability to multitask and work well cross functionally.
Flexible and responds with a high sense of urgency.
Detail oriented and strong ability to solve problems.
Confirm / proficiency in utilizing ERP systems (such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English.)
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) preferred.
APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) certification in CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory management) is a strong plus.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000. The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and / or education.
