Sales Manager – Interventional Cardiology (Puerto Rico)

About The Role This role is pivotal in driving regional sales success. The Regional Sales Manager prepares forecasts, analyzes market potential, and manages sales expenses. You will continuously monitor and enhance sales performance by integrating territory plans and account profiles into a comprehensive regional strategy, working in alignment with corporate and regional sales objectives. You will plan and execute tactics to secure product positioning, market penetration, and sales forecasting, lead market research efforts, collaborate with the sales team to expand market share, and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Monitor regional sales performance, initiate corrective actions, and prepare reports, summaries, analyses, and documentation on all aspects of region management.
Assist sales support and marketing staff in sales promotion, training, market research, and special projects.
Ensure effective implementation of customer records, key contacts, and company policies.
Lead strategic planning efforts to develop detailed business strategies, market mapping, and action plans to identify and exploit new opportunities.
Provide continuous tools and education to team members on industry, competitor, and product knowledge.
Travel regularly with team members to implement territory management and account targeting strategies.
Conduct quarterly sales reviews and adjust strategies to meet country requirements.
Develop and execute integrated marketing plans, capture market research data, and lead customer programs, networks, and advisory boards.
Manage marketing plan and budget, and lead new product launches.
Facilitate contract negotiations and create value‑added product bundles.
Maintain key account relationships, support customer education initiatives, and participate in industry forums.
Support sales representatives with professional development and field support.
Conduct post‑training result monitoring and ensure clear communication of any customer complaints or issues.
Coordinate physician and staff training and education events.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or science; master’s degree preferred.
5–10 years of experience in business management and sales team supervision in the medical device industry.
Strong expertise in strategic negotiations, contract management, and navigating complex agreements.
Proven leadership ability to develop and lead high‑performing sales teams.
Strategic thinking with a track record of executing effective sales strategies.
Results‑oriented mindset with a history of exceeding sales targets.
Deep market knowledge of regional dynamics and customer needs.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
