Description
We are currently seeking an Associate MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Anesthesiology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing anesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the comfort and safety of patients before, during, and after surgery. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging cases and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
As an Anesthesiologist with Rinvio Recruitment, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patient vital signs, managing pain, and overseeing patient recovery post-surgery. Your role is essential in optimizing patient outcomes and ensuring a smooth surgical experience. Responsibilities:
Administer various types of anesthesia to patients based on their medical condition and the type of surgical procedure
Monitor and adjust anesthesia levels during surgery to ensure patient safety and comfort
Manage and treat post-operative pain to promote patient recovery
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans
Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed
Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records
Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies
Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
Valid state medical license to practice as an Anesthesiologist
Excellent knowledge of anesthesia principles, techniques, and medications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Opening Highlights:
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
In-house call, 1 weekday evening & 1 weekend day per month
Level 4 NICU
100% pediatric anesthesia
12-19 sites open daily - Uro, ENT, complex peds, ortho, general surgery, plastics, cardiac, neuro
Patient Ages: 0-17
Care team model, 75% supervision and 25% own cases
Board certification required
