Description
In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of neonatal care. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of newborns and supporting families during critical times. You will be involved in a variety of neonatology projects, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare staffing initiatives. Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to newborns in neonatal units. Assess, diagnose, and treat premature or ill newborns. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Monitor and manage neonates requiring intensive care. Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding treatment plans and progress. Participate in medical rounds and case conferences. Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards of care. Contribute to the education and training of medical staff and students. Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology. Valid medical license to practice in the specified location. Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient care. Schedule: 7a-5p or 5p-7a No call requirement 75-bed Level IV NICU Patient Census: 71 per day Required Procedures: Standard ICU procedures, ECMO Team Structure: 7 MDs during the day, 1 MD at night, APPs Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
