In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to pediatric patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the well-being and health of young patients, making a significant impact on their lives and the community. You will be involved in a variety of pediatric projects, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare initiatives. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough examinations of pediatric patients and accurately diagnose their conditions. Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for children with various medical needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients. Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare practices and treatment options. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records of all pediatric patients. Adhere to all medical protocols, standards, and regulations while delivering care. Participate in medical rounds, conferences, and training sessions as required. Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Valid medical license to practice as a physician specializing in Pediatrics. Strong knowledge of pediatric medical conditions, treatments, and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate medical records and documentation. Commitment to providing high-quality and compassionate care to pediatric patients. Willingness to adhere to ethical standards and patient confidentiality guidelines. Schedule: 7a-5p or 5p-7a No call requirement 26-bed PICU Patient Volume: 16 per day Required Procedures: Standard ICU procedures and ECMO Team Structure: 2 MDs during the day, 1 MD at night, APPs Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
